Leadwork

Sharp + Howse's continuing commitment to train apprentices has ensured that the traditional skills required to produce quality lead works are still available in-house. As long standing members of the Lead Contractors Association, (LCA), Sharp + Howse are subjected to a vetting programme, including on site assessment of their works, which resulted in 2002 in a grading award of "Excellent" which we have retained to this day.

Sharp + Howse are regularly involved with the following:

  • Bespoke ornamental leadwork
  • Milled and sand cast lead
  • Commercial, industrial and large domestic properties
  • Flat rooves, flashings, gutters and cornice details
  • New or refurbishment of existing installations
